Looking for a fun and relaxing evening the whole family can enjoy? Crosby Memorial Library’s Family Fun Nights are designed for families of all shapes and sizes to come together, play games, get creative, and make lasting memories!

From babies to grandparents, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun! Whether you’re looking to laugh over a board game, work on a craft project together, or simply enjoy quality time with loved ones, there’s something for every generation to enjoy.

CML’s Random Readers’ Book Club

Join us for your next great read!

Looking for a book club that offers something a little different? Whether you’re an avid reader or just getting back into the habit, the Random Readers’ Book Club at Crosby Memorial Library is a welcoming space for thoughtful conversation, shared stories, and new perspectives.

This isn’t your average book club! We mix things up with a combination of:
📖 Group Reads – We read a specific book together and gather to discuss characters, plot, and themes.
📚 Free Reads with a Twist – Instead of one title, members choose their own books based on a shared topic. Past themes have included:

  • Books set in a specific time period (e.g. the Roaring Twenties, World War II, or the distant future)

  • Books that evoke a certain feeling or expression (like wanderlust, nostalgia, hope, or resilience)

  • Books centered around a holiday or significant date in history (such as stories set on Independence Day, during Women’s History Month, or around New Year’s resolutions)

Each meeting brings fresh perspectives, fun discoveries, and great conversations—plus light refreshments and coffee to keep the discussion flowing!

          ✅ A blend of structured reads and reader’s choice
          ✅ Friendly discussions fueled by coffee and snacks

Crosby Memorial Library offers a variety of Children’s Activity Programs designed to spark imagination, encourage creativity, and bring kids together for exciting learning experiences. From storytime adventures to hands-on activities, there’s something for every young explorer!

📚 Storytime with Mrs. Megan

Join us for Storytime with Mrs. Megan, where children can enjoy fun books, interactive songs, and creative crafts designed to make stories come to life! These lively sessions help foster a love of reading while allowing kids to sing, move, and express themselves in a welcoming environment.

Beyond Storytime, the library offers Children’s Activity Days, featuring events like:

CML’s Teen Activity Nights

Teen Activity Nights are THE place to be!

Looking for something fun to do after school? Want to meet new friends, show off your gaming skills, or try your hand at a new craft? Crosby Memorial Library’s Teen Activity Nights are the place to be! Hosted twice a month, these events alternate between Game Nights and Craft Nights, so there’s always something new to look forward to. Whether you’re into video games, creative crafts, or just hanging out, we’ve got something for you.

🎮 Game Nights – Let’s Play! 

Do you enjoy video games with friends? Want to show off your gaming skills? Come join us for a night of digital fun at the library, where we may be playing Nintendo Switch games, party games, or even hosting tournaments for those who want to compete. Whether you’re a casual gamer or a seasoned pro, there’s a place for you here.

Not a gamer? No worries! We’ve got a great selection of board games and card games, so there’s something for everyone. Grab some snacks, challenge a friend, and let the games begin!

🎨 Craft Nights – Let’s Get Creative!

All of our crafts are beginner-friendly, and we’ll provide all the tools and materials you need. Library staff will be there to guide you and answer any questions, so you can relax and enjoy the creative process. Who knows? You might even discover a new hobby!
