As part of our commitment to providing a fun and safe Summer Reading Program experience, we ask all participants and their guardians to review and acknowledge the following safety and waiver information. This ensures that everyone enjoys the program responsibly and with full awareness of the risks involved in recreational and outdoor activities.
At the end of the registration process, participants will have the option to electronically acknowledge their understanding of the waiver terms. For those who prefer physical documentation, we offer a downloadable waiver form. You may print, sign, and return it to either branch’s circulation desk prior to participation.
A completed and submitted waiver is mandatory for participation in the recreational and outdoor events. The waiver must be signed and submitted prior to attending the end of summer events.
Acknowledgement of Participation:
By signing the waiver, participants acknowledge their voluntary participation in the Summer Reading Program’s recreational and outdoor activities.
Assumption of Responsibility and Release of Liability:
Participants assume all risks associated with these activities, including potential injury, and release the library from any liability.
Medical Assistance:
In case of an emergency, participants authorize library staff to seek medical treatment if necessary, understanding that any medical costs incurred are the responsibility of the participant or guardian.
